SANSAT

The Social Cooperative San Saturnino was constituted in 1989, although its origins and first steps date back to 1980 when, as a volunteer association, it collaborated with the city government in launching an initial experiment of Domestic Assistance for the Elderly carried out in Rome. Over the years, the considerable diversification of the activities performed has allowed the cooperative to operate in other jurisdictions of the city of Rome and in the region and to use its unique expertise of competencies and experience to respond to the various needs of different target groups: minors, elderly, homeless, women/single mothers with children, migrants, etc. SANSAT offers its services in order to improve the quality of live, to promote the social solidarity, to encourage the acceptance of differences and non discrimination, to develop a wide spread of community empowerment. In carrying out its own mission, the Social Cooperative San Saturnino is considered an active player participating - in close collaboration with institutional structures, non-profits and formal and informal resources - in constructing the well-being of the community and the social integration of citizens through the promotion, planning and realization of psychological, social health and educational services. In managing these services, SANSAT makes use of a qualified organizational system and diversified human and professional resources: social workers, psychologists, pedagogues, educators, home health care-givers, childcare workers. Thanks to the experience gained over the years through direct contact with citizens, the cooperative aims to respond in the most appropriate way to actual needs, offering direct services to the individual while always keeping in mind the quality requested and specified by institutional structures.

CARDET

CARDET - Centre for Advancement of Research and Development in Educational Technology - was founded in 2004 and is one of the premier social justice oriented organizations in Cyprus with extensive experience developing and implementing programs focusing on migrants and integration.

CARDET is the founder of the Mediterranean Migration Network, which is funded by EU Solidarity funds, with more than 150 organizations as members from EU and the world. CARDET is also the Cyprus Focal Point of the European Website on Integration and the Cyprus partner for Migrant Integration Policy Index Project (MIPEX).

Moreover, CARDET completed more than 12 projects on issues related to migration and integration, under the Solidarity Funds and the Lifelong Learning Programs. In addition, CARDET is the Cyprus focal point of the Global Network “Social Watch”, with more than 200 member organizations, working in the fields of social justice and social integration. Furthermore, CARDET is a founder member of the Cyprus Platform for Non-Governmental Development Organizations, with more than 30 member organizations.

WISAMAR

Wisamar Bildungsgesellschaft gGmbH is an accredited non-profit education provider, active in further education and training, integration, project management and EU Mobility. Situated in Leipzig, Germany, Wisamar has more than 12 years of experience in EU projects with more than 500 successfully conducted mobility programmes and over 50 projects aiming at the development or the transfer of innovative educational methods and promoting the concept of Life-Long-Learning. It acts as a regional mobility information desk for the German National Agency and shares its competences as an evaluator for the EU campaigns "Youth on the Move" and "We mean business". Wisamar offers integration and language courses, helping migrants and refugees to master the German language and facilitating their access to the job market.

AMSED

AMSED (Association Migration Solidarity and Exchange for Development) is an non-profit association of intercultural exchanges and for local development based in Strasbourg. Created in 1998 and under the direction of Mr. Djilali KABECHE, it organizes, through its different poles, various and varied actions in the field of international mobility (intercultural and multilateral exchanges through international projects of young volunteers and solidarity trips) in the Euro- Mediterranean area (more particularly, in migrant circles), Youth and Diversity meetings (socio- cultural animation workshops and street activities), and integration. Its structure has 10 employees, 150 members and 100 volunteers.

AMSED, as a youth organization, is competent in the accompaniment, implementation, and follow-up of intercultural youth projects of non-formal education with European and international dimensions. It has a wide radiation of the importance of its network of members and partners in the countries of the European Union, as well as in neighbouring countries. AMSED regularly works with the Erasmus program +, with several multilateral youth projects under its belt in Europe, and in neighbouring countries and it has a broad knowledge of methods and tools for the realization and the inclusion of young people. AMSED has a lot of experience with the organization of training courses and seminars.

SUDWIND

Südwind bases its work on the principles of the non-partisan, nondenominational ÖIE – Österreichischer Informationsdienst für Entwicklungspolitik (Austrian Information Service for International Development Policy) that was founded in 1979 and renamed Südwind in 1997.

The organization’s work in Austria is conducted by a network of regional offices and partners. On local, regional, national, and international levels, Südwind cooperates with organizations and institutions in the fields of international development, education, environment, culture, and social issues, as well as with various civil society networks and important political actors.

Südwind regularly carries out projects of its own, and makes its know-how available to other organizations and institutions.

ANL

Established in 2002 as a non-profit organization founded by Italian opinion leaders active in the labour market, Associazione Nuovi Lavori carries out studies and analysis on welfare and labour market, and it offers consulting services to improve the labour organization. Over the years ANL has provided technical assistance to public administrations both at national and local level, supporting them with the implementation of multi-level social policies, welfare initiatives and development programmes financed through the EU structural and investment funds (ESIF). One of its core objectives is to provide support to unemployed people, including migrants and persons from disadvantaged and vulnerable groups, in their efforts to access the labour market. ANL has also carried out integrated projects concerning labour law and sociology, strategic competences and development, as well as work organisation.

The complexity and the wide range of the issues dealt with by the organisation has led ANL to develop and set up research divisions involving expert consultants in the following areas:

  • Analysis, studies and research: the main task is to analyse the most important labour issues and the complex interrelations between the impact of the new typologies of contracts, flexibility and precariousness.
  • Improvement of employability perspectives: focus on the field experimentations (support the Public Institutions – Training, Employment and Guidance Centres with elaborate methodologies to simplify and enhance the matching between demand and supply in the job market).
  • Local Development Services: support the territories to better leverage social and economic development.

ACH

Acción contra el Hambre is a global humanitarian organization that takes decisive action against the causes and effects of hunger and diseases that threaten the lives of vulnerable people for almost 40 years.

One of the keys of its work in the field is the creation of methodologies to boost local economies and markets in low and middle income countries, which allows people to be generators of their own development. That is why Acción contra el Hambre in Spain has integrated the experience of income generation projects in the field, into the Spanish context, adapting and creating new methodologies that allow the integration of people at risk of social exclusion in the labour market.

Since 2012 it is working in Spain through the Employability and Entrepreneurship Strategy in order to facilitate the access to the professional world for people at social and labour exclusion risk. In order to reach this goal it carries out different projects under two main axes: Inclusive Employment and Entrepreneurship. Through this strategy and under the umbrella of the European Network of Innovation for Inclusion, it is also fostering the exchange of best practices and innovation with other organizations at European level in order to create a more inclusive labour market.
